855 Brannan Street is a LEED Platinum-certified mixed-use development in San Francisco’s SOMA/Design District, completed in 2018. The project features three interconnected six-story buildings housing 449 apartments—including 21 flexible lofts—and offers widened sidewalks, retail spaces, and public mid-block passages like Langton Way and Decatur Way, enhancing pedestrian connectivity. At its heart lies the Redwood Court, a serene public courtyard adorned with a grove of coast redwoods, providing residents and visitors with a tranquil urban oasis.
Priority Architectural Graphics played a crucial role in this development by fabricating and installing an extensive wayfinding and code signage package. Their work featured rich laser-engraved walnut finishes, LED edge-lit details, and custom 3D-printed code signage, seamlessly integrating with the building’s modern aesthetic. Collaborating closely with general contractor Balfour Beatty and other trades, Priority ensured timely completion and adherence to the project’s high-quality standards, significantly enhancing the functionality and visual appeal of the residential community.
