The San Francisco Crime Lab, officially known as the San Francisco Police Department Traffic Company and Forensic Services Division Facility, is a cutting-edge, three-story, 90,000-square-foot facility that consolidates vital police services, including forensic labs, administrative offices, a firearm testing facility, and a motorcycle parking area. Designed by HOK and built by Clark Construction, the facility was completed in 2021 as part of the city’s ongoing investment in modernizing public safety infrastructure.

Priority Architectural Graphics was a key signage partner on the project, delivering a full interior and exterior signage package that enhanced both functionality and design. Our work included bold exterior identity signage, precise interior code signage, life safety signage for emergency preparedness, and a thoughtful wayfinding system to ensure easy navigation. Priority’s deep experience with local San Francisco government projects and close collaboration with the project team ensured that all signage met stringent regulatory standards while contributing to the building’s clean, modern aesthetic. Our expertise and attention to detail made them a trusted and valuable partner in bringing this essential public safety facility to life.
