2019 will be the best year yet for Priority Architectural Graphics as the company continues to be hired for larger and more complex assignments from general contractors and developers across the state. This year, the team at Priority grew from 19 to 31 employees, expanding the depth and breadth of signage expertise and capacity at the company.
“At Priority, our people are our first priority” notes Founder and President, Juliana Choy Sommer, “Development and investment in our team have been a major focus of mine this year as we have continued our growth trajectory.” Priority Graphics has invested tens of thousands in providing Priority team members with soft and hard skill development through professional development coursework from change management to project management, software training and soft skills in time management and fostering a culture of accountability.
In addition, the company hosts regular team building events such as their recent cooking class with Cozymeal at San Francisco’s Ghiradelli Square.
The three core values at the company, Transparency, Trust and Growth & Learning are fundamental to the business processes, company culture and incentive systems used at Priority. As an example, even the latest SaaS software implementation at the company, an internal communications platform, links Priority team members together internally in real time while also connecting them to clients via a customer portal so that clients can stay informed and aware about any new project developments.
“I plan to make additional investments on our team at Priority as we move forward into 2020. Being a sign business, one of our hallmarks is being “people-centric” – with our clients, our referral partners and most importantly with our employees at the company. I’m proud to work with such a talented team of signage professionals.” – Juliana Choy Sommer
