Wayfinding Signs
User-Centered Design
Wayfinding signage solves problems for building visitors from spatial orientation to point-to-point navigation. At its essence, wayfinding answers two key questions: “Where am I now?” and “How do I get to where I want to go?”. Classic wayfinding sign design drafts off of visitor use cases and people-focused graphic design. Wayfinding signage enhances the user experience in a space and reduces the need for human assistance, blending elements including orientation and route selection, user monitoring along a route and destination recognition.
